aloo cheela recipe | aloo ka cheela or aloo chilla | potato pancakes with step by step photo and video recipe. cheela recipes are always easy and tasty dish which can be prepared within minutes. similar to the traditional besan cheela recipe, aloo cheela recipe too can be prepared within minutes and yet it tastes better than it. i personally love it as evening snack but you are more than welcome to experiment it with lunch and dinner.

morning breakfast is an important part of our day to day meal and i personally try to make it healthy and tasty. but things can be tricky especially when you have a small window during those busy mornings and you may end up compromising with one or another aspect. but the potato-based pancake can certainly be your answer for one of those working days. the best part of aloo cheela is that it does not require much preparation time. unlike the other popular south indian breakfast recipe, which typically requires grounding or overnight fermentation, this dish has no such complicated steps. yet still it is so tasty and healthy with all the myriad nutrients required to kick-start your day.

aloo cheela recipe

the recipe is extremely simple yet some tips, recommendations and serving suggestions for it. firstly, i heavily recommend to grate the potatoes as fine as possible. the grating can be time-consuming , so alternatively you can use boiled and mashed potato. secondly, if you are planning to use boiled potatoes than ensure to remove the boiled potatoes immediately once they are pressure cooked. they should not absorb water and moisture free. lastly, aloo ka cheela can be great tiffin box recipe, especially when served with tomato sauce. but ensure to quickly microwave it for 30-45 seconds before consuming it. potato pancake can be easily relished by itself without any particular side dish but tastes amazing with spicy green chutney.
