beetroot sasmi

beetroot saasmi reacipe | beetroot pachadi recipe with step by step photo recipe. beetroot saasmi is also called as beetroot saasive in udupi-mangalore region. goes well with plain steamed rice and chapathi. beetroot saasmi reacipe is completely different than beetroot rasam recipe.

saasmi means mustard seeds in kannada. so you must have guessed the major ingredient rite. beetroot saasmi is prepared by cooking grated beetroot with coconut-mustard seeds masala. generous amount of garlic seasoning will give a nice flavour to beetroot saasmi. however, today i have kept the seasoning simple. i have already shared padipe saasmi and cucumber saasmi.

beetroot saasmi

beetroot is the most loved vegetable by my husband.  beetroot is as healthy as its bright red colour. beetroot helps in decreasing the risk of obesity, diabetes and  heart disease. beetroots are rich in calcium, iron, fibre, vitamins and potassium. always select fresh, stiff, firm and red smooth beetroot.
