furthermore, i would like to share some tips and tricks for crispy masala pav recipe. firstly, use fresh pav for this recipe. otherwise, pav may turn brittle and can break easily. secondly, mashed potato can also be added after tomatoes. adding aloo means a thick curry, but personally i do not prefer it. lastly, add generous amount of butter while frying pav. certainly, more butter means unhealthy and greasy food, but it should be fine for once in a while.

Ingredients
  • 2 pav / bread
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • ½ capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato finely chopped
  • ½ tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ cup water or as required
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
Instructions ( 1 cup =255 ml)
  1. firstly, on a tawa or a in a kadai heat butter.
  2. further, saute chopped ginger and garlic till they turn golden brown.
  3. also add onions and saute well.
  4. furthermore, add chopped capsicum and continue to saute.
  5. add finely chopped tomato and fry till they are soft.
  6. furthermore, create a well to add masalas.
  7. add chilli powder, pav bhaji masala and salt.
  8. also add little water and mash and cook the masala well.
  9. scrape the masala to one side of pan.
  10. further, add butter on to tawa.
  11. and cut the pav into half.
  12. then toast it for a minute.
  13. further, turn over and spread generous amount of prepared masala on both the pav.
  14. also spread the masala over the pav and garnish with chopped coriander leabes.
  15. finally, serve masala pav hot with sliced onions and a piece of lemon.

  • furthermore, adjust the spicelevel according to your preference.
  • additionally, squeeze a small piece of lemon juice over masala for more flavour.
  • finally, prepare and serve masala pav immediately. do not store as the pav will turn soggy.
