while, the preparation of tomato rasam recipe is very easy, but few key points for a perfect tomato saaru recipe. the taste of tomato rasam depends upon the time we boil the tamarind juice with jaggery, salt, and green chilies. typically i boil it for 10-15 minutes and water if you feel tamarind juice has evaporated. secondly, you can also use store bought rasam spice powder mix if you do not wish to prepare the rasam powder. i would highly recommend to use the mtr rasam powder. lastly, seasoning and coriander plus curry leaves enhances the aroma of rasam, hence do not avoid it.
