bread rollbread roll recipe | stuffed potato bread roll | how to make bread roll with step by step photo and video recipe. an ideal kids snack recipe which can be easily prepared with left over sandwich bread slices. basically, a deep fried snack with potato and peas stuffing within a bread cover. these oil fried snacks are served with tomato ketchup, mayo or even with green chutney.

previously i had shared the recipe of bread cheesy roll and it has the similar stuffing. however, in this recipe i have used green peas. in addition, i have cooked finely chopped onion, boiled potato and peas for about 5-8 minutes so that peas get cooked properly. optionally, you can completely ignore green peas or matar and just mix boiled potatoes and onions as the stuffing. moreover, i have dipped the bread slices and squeezed the excess water before giving a proper oval shape to the bread roll. the idea here is to make bread flexible to hold the stuffing and to roll.

furthermore, some variations and tips for the crispy deep fried bread roll recipe. firstly, adding vegetables to stuffing is open ended. cooked vegetables like carrot, beetroot, cauliflower can be added, however i opted to keep it simple. secondly, always use white sandwich bread slices for this recipe, and avoid using brown or wholegrain bread. moreover, with the spices, i have added garam masala and amchur powder, you can also add chat masala and crushed pepper if you prefer. lastly, always deep fry the bread roll in hot oil for crispy and perfect roll.

finally, i do request you to check my other snacks recipes collection from my website. particularly, stuffed mirchi bajji, onion samosa, crispy corn, veg spring roll, cheesy onion rings, corn cheese balls, stuffed mushroom and sabudana vada. in addition do visit my other recipes collection like,
