firstly, soak moong dal in enough hot water for atleast 2-3 hours. using hot water soaks the dal fast.
furthermore, drain the moong dal and keep aside for 30 minutes. so that all water is dried off.
now transfer it to a blender and blend to coarse paste without adding any water. keep aside.
also take a non stick kadai and heat 3-4 tbsp of ghee.
furthermore, take cashews and pista or dry fruits of your choice.
fry cashews and raisins till they turn golden brown on medium flame. keep aside.
now add the moong dal paste.
saute on low to medium flame for atleast 15 minutes.
saute till they turn crumble.
break the crumbled moong dal and fry till they turn golden brown.
furthermore, add water.
also add milk and boil for a 1 minute.
then add sugar and mix well.
cover and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes or till it forms a lump separating the pan.
now add cardamom powder and saffron milk.
also add roasted cashews and raisins. preserve few for garnishing.
give a good mix and transfer to a bowl.
finally, garnish with few almonds, cashews and raisins.
