MAIDA - 2 CUP

firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup maida and 2 tbsp rava

CUMIN - 1 TSP

add ½ tsp ajwain, 1 tsp cumin and ½ tsp salt. mix well

HOT OIL - 2 TBSP

now pour 2 tbsp hot oil and mix well.

HOLDS SHAPE 

crumble and mix until the flour turns moist.

WATER - HALF CUP

further, add water and start to knead

SMOOTH DOUGH

knead to a smooth and soft dough adding water if required.

ROLL GENTLY

now roll the dough by greasing oil to the rolling pin.

SLIGHTLY THICK

roll to slightly thick thickness

KAJU SHAPE

using a bottle cap make a moon-like shape

DEEP FRY - HOT OIL

now deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on low.

STIR OCCASIONALLY

stir occasionally, and fry until the namak pare turns golden and crunchy

DRAIN OFF

drain off to remove excess oil.

PEPPER POWDER

now add ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp pepper powder, ½ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp salt and few curry leaves.

MIX WELL

mix well making sure the spices are well coated

READY TO EAT

finally, enjoy kaju namak para with a cup of chai
