firstly, in a pressure cooker take ½ cup chana dal. make sure to soak the dal for 1 hour.
add 1 cup water, ¼ tsp turmeric and 1 tsp oil.
pressure cook for 3 whistles or until the dal is cooked well yet retain their shape.
drain off the dal to remove excess water.
in a pan heat 2 tsp oil, add ½ tsp cumin, 1 tsp ginger, 2 chilli, 2 tbsp cashew and saute until the spices turn aromatic.
also, add 2 tbsp peas, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp aamchur, ¼ tsp chaat masala and 1 tsp salt.
saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
now add ¾ cup paneer and boiled dal.
mix well until everything is well combined.
further, add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well.
finally, transfer to the plate and cool completely. dal stuffing is ready.
