Ingredients

for vanilla mug cake:

  • ¼ cup maida
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • ¼ cup milk warm
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

for chocolate mug cake:

  • ¼ cup maida
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • ¼ cup milk warm
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

for red velvet mug cake:

  • ¼ cup maida
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 3 drop red food colour
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • ¼ cup milk warm

Instructions

how to make vanilla mug cake:

  • firstly, in a bowl take ¼ cup maida, ¼ tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp sugar.
  • add ½ tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp butter, melted and ¼ cup milk.
  • mix well, making sure the batter is smooth.
  • now add 2 tbsp chocolate chips and mix gently.
  • transfer the cake batter to a small mug. top with a few choco chips.
  • to bake the cake in pan, layer the pan with salt on the bottom.
  • place a stand and a plate.
  • now place the mug, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. you can alternatively microwave for 1 minute.
  • finally, enjoy vanilla mug cake with chocolate sauce if required.
