Ingredients

  • 1 cup sabudana
  • ½ cup peanut
  • ¼ cup rajgira atta
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 chilli finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut grated
  • 1 potato boiled & mashed
  • ¾ cup curd
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • oil for roasting

Instructions

  • firstly, in a pan take 1 cup sabudana and ½ cup peanut.
  • dry roast on medium flame until the peanut turns crunchy.
  • cool completely, and grind to a fine powder.
  • transfer the sabudana peanut powder to a large bowl.
  • add ¼ cup rajgira atta, 1 tsp cumin, 2 chilli, 2 tbsp coriander, and 2 tbsp coconut.
  • also add 1 potato, ¾ cup curd, and 1 tsp salt.
  • adding 1 cup water and mixing well forming a batter.
  • cover and rest for 10 minutes or until the sabudana is soaked well.
  • you can use the batter to make appe.
  • or you can steam in idli plate for 10 minutes.
  • you can also make chilla by roasting in pan.
  • finally, enjoy vrat ka nashta with chutney.
