firstly, in a pan take ¼ cup masoor dal, ¼ cup chana dal, ¼ cup oats, ¼ cup rice, 2 tbsp sesame, and 10 almonds.
dry roast on low flame until the dal turns aromatic. and the moisture in lentils is lost.
cool completely, and transfer to the mixer jar.
add 2 tbsp sandalwood powder and 1 tsp turmeric.
grind to fine powder making sure the pulses are ground smooth.
you can sieve using a fine sieve and grind the coarse powder again.
transfer the powder into the glass jar and ubtan powder is ready.
to make mask, in a bowl take 1 tbsp ubtan powder and 2 tbsp curd.
mix well forming a smooth paste.
if your skin is dry, then make sure to add 1 tsp honey.
apply the ubtan mask on the face and body.
rinse off with cold water after 30 minutes.
