firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tsp oil and add 1 tsp mustard, ½ tsp jeera, 1 inch ginger.
saute and allow to splutter.
further add 2 boiled and mashed potato. i have pressure cooked potato for 3 whistles.
also add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp chaat masala and ½ tsp salt.
mix and mash potato well.
turn off the flame and mix 2 tbsp coriander leaves. aloo masala stuffing is ready.
spread green chutney over 2 bread slice.
top on one bread slice with 2 slices of onion and 5 slices of tomato.
sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala to season vegetables.
now spread a tbsp of prepared aloo masala.
also top with 2 rings of capsicum and sprinkle chaat masala.
cover with another bread slices and spread ½ tsp butter.
toast the sandwich with some butter to golden and crisp.
spread ½ tsp green chutney and cut the masala toast sandwich into 4 pieces or 6 pieces.
finally, sprinkle sev and chaat masala before serving masala toast sandwich.
