Ingredients

for falooda sev:

  • ½ cup falooda sev / vermicelli
  • 1 cup water

for sabja seeds:

  • 2 tsp basil seeds / sabja seeds / tukmaria seeds
  • 1 cup water

for rose milk:

  • cup full fat milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp rose syrup add as required

for falooda:

  • 1 tsp rose syrup
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jelly
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tsp cashews pistachios, almonds - chopped
  • 1 tsp tutti frutti

Instructions

falooda sev recipe:

  • firstly, boil a cup of water.
  • then add faluda sev and switch off the flame.

sabja seeds recipe:

  • in a small cup, take 2 tsp of sabja seeds.
  • next, add 1 cup of water and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • sabja seeds will swell absorbing water.

rose milk preparation recipe:

  • firstly, in a thick bottomed vessel boil 1½ cup of full fat milk.
  • in addition, add 1 tsp of sugar and continue to boil for another minute.
  • cool down completely and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • furthermore, transfer to the jug and add 2 tbsp of rose syrup.
  • give a good mix. add more rose syrup if required. keep aside.

falooda preparation recipe:

  • firstly, in a tall glass add 2 tsp of soaked sabja seeds.
  • then add cooked faluda sev.
  • furthermore, add rose syrup along the edges of the glass.
  • then pour the prepared rose milk.
  • now slowly place 2 tsp of strawberry jelly.
  • also top with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
  • finally, garnish with chopped dry fruits and tutti frutti.
  • serve falooda immediately.
