firstly, in a small blender take ¼ cup cashew and ¼ cup almonds.
also add 2 tbsp poppy seeds, 2 tbsp melon seeds, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp pepper, 3 pods cardamom and 1 tbsp dried rose petals.
blend to fine powder without adding any water. thandai masala powder is ready.
now to prepare thandai drink take few cubes of ice in a glass.
add in 3 tsp of prepared thandai masala.
pour chilled milk and mix well. allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
finally, serve thandai garnished with few saffron threads and dried rose petals.
