- firstly, in a large vessel take 2 litre water, 1 tbsp salt. 
- once the water comes to a boil, add 300 grams spaghetti pasta. 
- mix well making sure the pasta is completely immersed in water. 
- boil for 8 minutes or until the pasta is al dente. refer package instruction to know the cooking time. 
- drain off the water and keep aside. reserve the pasta boiled water, we will use it later. 
- now in a large wok, take 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp butter. 
- add 5 clove garlic and saute slightly. 
- also, add 1 tsp chilli flakes and saute until the flavours are absorbed well. 
- now add ½ cup pasta boiled water and mix well. adding pasta boiled water gives nice saucy texture due to starch. 
- once the water comes to a boil, add boiled pasta and mix gently. 
- also, add 1 tsp mixed herbs and ½ tsp chilli flakes. give a good mix. 
- now add 3 tbsp cheese and give a final mix. you can use parmesan cheese or cheddar cheese here.
