Ingredients

for aloo fry:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 potato / aloo cubed

for desi style chaat:

  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp aamchur
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sev

for chilli aloo recipe:

  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 chilli slit
  • 2 clove garlic chopped
  • 2 tbsp spring onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp capsicum chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

how to make crispy aloo fry:

  • firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil.
  • add 4 potato and mix well making sure the oil is coated well. make sure to cut the aloo on equal sizes and rinse well.
  • stir occasionally, and fry on medium flame.
  • spread the aloo over the kadai making sure the base is roasted well.
  • once the base turns golden brown, give a stir.
  • fry on medium flame until the aloo turns golden brown and crisp.
  • finally, aloo fry is ready to make chaat.

how to make desi style aloo chaat:

  • firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup of fried aloo.
  • add 2 tbsp green chutney, 2 tbsp tamarind chutney, ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp aamchur, ¼ tsp chaat masala and ¼ tsp salt.
  • also add 1 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp onion and mix well.
  • finally, enjoy desi style aloo fry recipe as a tea time snack garnished with sev.

how to make chilli aloo recipe:

  • firstly, in a large wok heat 3 tsp oil. add 1 chilli, 2 clove garlic and saute well.
  • add 2 tbsp spring onion, 2 tbsp onion, 2 tbsp capsicum and stir fry on high flame.
  • now add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, ¼ tsp pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt.
  • stir fry on high flame until all the spices are well combined.
  • further, add fried aloo and mix gently.
  • finally, enjoy chill aloo fry recipe as a tea time snack garnished with sev.
