- firstly, in a pan heat 1 tbsp butter. add 4 clove garlic, ½ tsp chilli flakes and ½ tsp mixed herbs. saute until the spices turn aromatic. 
- add 1 cup water and ½ tsp salt. get to a rolling boil. 
- keep stirring and add ¾ cup rava. 
- continue to stir until the rava absorbs all the water. 
- sprinkle 2 tbsp water, cover and rest for 10 minutes. 
- after 10 minutes, the rava has absorbed the moisture. transfer to the large bowl. 
- also add 2 potato, ½ tsp salt and mix well. 
- since the dough is sticky, add ¼ cup corn flour and mix well. 
- mix well forming a non-sticky dough. 
- grease the dough with oil and roll slightly thick. 
- cut into ring shapes using a round cutter. 
- deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium. 
- stir occasionally, until the potato rings turn golden brown and crisp. 
- finally, drain off the potato garlic rings and enjoy with spicy tomato garlic chutney.
