firstly, in a mixi jar take 2 cup mango and blend smooth making sure the chunks are ground well.
transfer the mango puree to a large bowl.
now add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup cornflour, and mix using a whisk.
make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.
transfer the mixture to a large kadai and stir continuously.
keep stirring continuously, keeping the flame on low to medium.
after 5 minutes, the mixture will start to thicken.
now add 2 tbsp ghee and continue to cook.
the ghee is absorbed completely.
further, add 2 tbsp more ghee and continue to cook. i have used a total of 4 tbsp of ghee in batches.
keep stirring until the mixture will start to hold shape and separate the pan.
transfer the mixture to a box lined with parchment paper.
level up making sure it is of uniform thickness.
rest for 2 hours or until the dessert is set well.
cut into the shape of your choice and roll in desiccated coconut.
finally, enjoy mango delight or mango halwa topped with nuts.
