Ingredients

  • 15 mushroom sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • ½ onion chopped
  • tbsp maida
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cup water
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 2 tsp coriander chopped

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a wok, heat 2 tbsp butter. Saute 3 cloves garlic and 1 inch ginger.
  • Also, sauté ½ onion until it softens.
  • Now add 15 sliced mushroom and saute well.
  • Cook till the mushroom softens and water is released.
  • Now add 1½ tbsp maida, 1 tsp salt and cook till it turns aromatic. Maida helps to thicken the soup.
  • Pour in 4 cup water and mix well.
  • Collect few mushroom and grind to a smooth paste. Mushroom paste helps to make mushroom soup creamy and flavourful.
  • Add in mushroom paste and cook well.
  • Simmer for atleast 5 minutes, or until the flavours are absorbed well.
  • Now add ½ tsp thyme, 1 tsp pepper powder and ¼ cup cream. Mix and get to a boil.
  • Also add 2 tsp coriander and mix well.
  • Finally, enjoy the Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe with bread.
