Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 pods cardamom / elachi
  • 1 inch ginger / adrak grated
  • 2 tsp tea powder
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ¾ full cream milk

Instructions

  • firstly, take 1 cup of water in a large saucepan.
  • add 3 pods of cardamom, open the pods and add to the water for more flavours.
  • also grate 1 inch of ginger.
  • now add 2 tsp of tea powder. increase the amount of tea powder, to make the tea stronger.
  • additionally add sugar.
  • now boil for 5 minutes on medium flame. boil more to make tea more stronger.
  • furthemore, add ¾ cup of milk.
  • boil for 2 minutes, make sure to mix in between.
  • later with the help of small filter, filter the chai separating the tea leaves and pour into glass.
  • finally, serve the the cutting chai hot along with biscuits.
