Ingredients
for hot chocolate:
- 2 cup milk
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cream / malai
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
for whipping cream:
- 1 cup whipping cream / heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- firstly, in a sauce pan take 2 cup milk.
- add ¼ cup cocoa powder, 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp cream.
- whisk continuously making sure the cocoa powder is well combined.
- continue to whisk and get the milk to boil.
- turn off the flame and add 1 tsp vanilla extract. mix well.
- prepare whipping cream by taking 1 cup chilled whipping cream.
- also add 2 tbsp powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- beat on low speed until the cream thickens.
- after 5 minutes, the cream turns stiff peaks.
- pour the hot chocolate into glass and a dollop of whipped cream.
- finally, enjoy hot chocolate sprinkled with more cocoa powder.
