Ingredients

for paneer mixture:

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 chilli finely chopped
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • pinch black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 cup paneer / cottage cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped

for toast:

Instructions

  • firstly, in a tawa heat 1 tsp butter and saute 1 chilli.
  • add ½ onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute well.
  • also, add ½ capsicum and saute slightly.
  • now add 1 tomato and saute until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
  • add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, pinch black pepper powder, ½ tsp chilli flakes and ½ tsp salt.
  • saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • further, add 2 tbsp tomato sauce and saute until everything is well combined.
  • add 1 cup paneer and mix well.
  • now add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. paneer mixture is ready.
  • take the bread and spread butter on both sides.
  • toast the bread on tawa until it turns golden brown.
  • now spread 1 tsp green chutney on one side of bread.
  • spread 2 tbsp of prepared paneer mixture uniformly.
  • finally, cut the toast into half, and chilli paneer toast is ready to serve with tomato sauce.
