Ingredients

for tomato stuffing:

  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 2 tomato finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped

for sandwich assembly:

Instructions

  • firstly, in a pan heat 1 tsp butter and saute ½ onion.
  • add 2 tomato and saute until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
  • now add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp pav bhaji masala and ½ tsp salt.
  • saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. tomato stuffing is ready.
  • to prepare the sandwich, spread butter on 2 slices of bread.
  • also spread green chutney to make it masaledar.
  • further top with 1 tbsp of prepared tomato stuffing.
  • and place 2 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cheese.
  • sprinkle some chaat masala and cover with bread slice.
  • grill the sandwich to golden brown on both sides.
  • finally, enjoy tomato sandwich with tomato sauce.
