Firstly, trim off the sides of 4 bread and cut them into pieces.
In a large bowl take ½ cup maida, ¼ cup rice flour, 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and ½ tsp salt.
Prepare a smooth batter adding water as required.
Now dip the bread pieces and deep fry them in hot oil.
Stir occasionally, keeping the flame on medium.
Fry until the bread pieces turn crispy golden brown
Drain off and keep aside. You can serve it as it is or toss it in a spicy sauce.
To prepare a sauce, heat 2 tbsp oil. add 1 tsp cumin, 5 cloves garlic, 1 inch ginger, 1 chilli and a few curry leaves. Stir fry for a minute.
Now add 2 tbsp chilli sauce and ¼ cup water.
Mix well, until the sauce is well combined.
Add in fried bread pieces and mix gently making sure the sauces are coated well.
