Ingredients

  • 20 dried red chilli
  • hot water for soaking
  • ½ cup garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Firstly, deseed the 20 dried red chilli and transfer to the bowl.
  • Soak in hot water for 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the soaked red chilli into the mixer jar.
  • add ½ cup garlic, 1 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp sugar, ¾ tsp salt and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
  • Grind to smooth paste.
  • Finally, Red Garlic Chutney for chaat is ready and can be used to make chaats.
