- 20 dried red chilli
- hot water for soaking
- ½ cup garlic
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- ¾ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Firstly, deseed the 20 dried red chilli and transfer to the bowl.
Soak in hot water for 30 minutes.
Transfer the soaked red chilli into the mixer jar.
add ½ cup garlic, 1 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp sugar, ¾ tsp salt and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
Grind to smooth paste.
Finally, Red Garlic Chutney for chaat is ready and can be used to make chaats.
