Ingredients

for frying paneer:

  • 20 cubes paneer
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • oil for frying

for sauce:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pinch hing
  • 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 chilli finely chopped
  • 2 dried red chilli broken
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • few curry leaves

Instructions

  • Firstly, take 20 cubes of paneer in a bowl. Add 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp garam masala, and ½ tsp salt.
  • Also add 3 tbsp curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 3 tbsp corn flour. Mix well.
  • Deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium.
  • Once the paneer turns golden brown and crunchy, drain off the paneer and keep it aside.
  • In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add a pinch of salt, 1 inch of ginger, 5 cloves of garlic, 2 chillies, and 2 dried red chillies. Saute well.
  • Also add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp chaat masala and cook till the sauce turns glossy.
  • Now add a few curry leaves and fried paneer.
  • Mix well, making sure the sauce is coated well.
  • Finally, enjoy Paneer 65 Recipe hot as a starter.
