- 5 ajwain leaf / doddapatre / karpooravalli / vamu aku
- 3 cup water
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 inch cinnamon
- ½ tsp cloves
Firstly, heat the 5 ajwain leaf directly on fire to release the juice. You can squeeze the juice directly and give it to kids for instant relief.
Take 3 cup water in a saucepan.
Cut the 5 doddapatre leaves into pieces.
Also add 1 tsp pepper, 1 inch cinnamon and ½ tsp cloves.
Stir and boil for 5 minutes or until the flavours are infused.
Finally, strain the water and enjoy Doddapatre Kashaya hot.
