Ingredients

  • 5 ajwain leaf / doddapatre / karpooravalli / vamu aku
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cloves

Instructions

  • Firstly, heat the 5 ajwain leaf directly on fire to release the juice. You can squeeze the juice directly and give it to kids for instant relief.
  • Take 3 cup water in a saucepan.
  • Cut the 5 doddapatre leaves into pieces.
  • Also add 1 tsp pepper, 1 inch cinnamon and ½ tsp cloves.
  • Stir and boil for 5 minutes or until the flavours are infused.
  • Finally, strain the water and enjoy Doddapatre Kashaya hot.
