Take white or brown bread and cut into small pieces.
Add the bread pieces to a mixer jar.
Add rava, curd and water.
Grind to a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter to a large bowl.
Add salt and baking soda. Mix well.
Keep the batter aside for a few minutes.
In another bowl, add onion, carrot, coriander, curry leaves, chilli and salt.
Mix well. Vegetable topping is ready.
Heat a tawa and pour one ladleful of batter.
Do not spread the batter. Keep it thick like uttapa.
Add vegetable topping evenly on top.
Drizzle oil around the uttapa.
Roast on low flame until the bottom turns golden.
Flip and cook the other side. Roast until both sides are cooked well.
Finally, bread uttapa is ready to serve hot with coconut chutney, podi or sauce.
