Firstly, in a large bowl, take 1 cup besan, ¼ cup maida, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric and 1 tsp baking powder.
Add water as required and prepare a smooth lump-free batter.
Ensure the quantity of water is adjusted to achieve a flowing consistency batter.
Add ½ onion, ½ tomato, 2 chillies, and 2 tbsp coriander. Mix well.
Now, heat the pan and grease it with oil.
Pour a cup of batter and spread it uniformly by turning the pan.
Sprinkle chilli powder and top with butter on the sides and centre.
Cook on a low flame till the omelette is cooked on all sides.
