Ingredients

for homemade jal jeera powder:

  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp black salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp amchur powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar

for drink:

  • 3 tbsp mint
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • ¾ tsp jal jeera powder
  • ice cubes
  • lemon slices

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a pan take 2 tbsp cumin and roast on low flame.
  • Roast until the cumin turns aromatic and golden brown.
  • Also, add 2 tsp pepper and continue to roast on low flame until it turns aromatic.
  • Cool completely, and transfer to the mixer jar.
  • Add 2 tbsp black salt, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp ginger powder, 2 tbsp amchur powder and 2 tbsp sugar.
  • Grind to fine powder and Homemade Jal Jeera Powder is ready.
  • To prepare pudina jal jeera drink, in mixer jar take 3 tbsp mint, 2 tbsp coriander, ¾ tsp jal jeera powder and grind to fine paste.
  • In a tall glass take a few ice cubes and pour in the prepared pudina jaleera drink mixture.
  • Add in ice-cold water or soda and lemon slices.
  • Finally, enjoy Jal Jeera Recipe garnished with mint.
