Ingredients

  • 1 cup jowar flour
  • 3 tbsp rava
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup curd
  • cup water
  • 2 tbsp caspcium chopped
  • 2 tbsp carrot grated
  • 2 tbsp onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander chopped
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 2 chilli finely chopped
  • ½ tsp eno fruit salt
  • 2 tbsp sesame to sprinkle
  • oil for roasting

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a bowl, take 1 cup jowar flour, 3 tbsp rava and ½ tsp salt.
  • Add ¼ cup curd and 1½ cups water, mix well, forming a smooth lump-free batter.
  • Also add 2 tbsp capsicum, 2 tbsp carrot, 2 tbsp onion, 2 tbsp coriander, 1 inch ginger, 2 chilli. Mix well.
  • Now add ½ tsp eno fruit salt and mix well till the batter turns frothy.
  • Now sprinkle the pan with sesame seeds and pour the batter.
  • Top with oil and cook on a low flame.
  • Once the bottom is cooked, flip and cook both sides.
  • Finally, enjoy Jowar Chilla Recipe with green chutney or tomato sauce.
