Firstly, in a mixer jar take ½ cup makhana, 2 tbsp cashew and 2 tbsp almonds.
Pulse and grind to a fine powder. Keep aside.
In a kadai heat 4 cup milk, few saffron and mix well.
Add powdered nuts and mix well.
Keep stirring, and cook until the milk thickens slightly.
Now add ¼ cup sugar and mix well.
Boil until the milk thickens and turns creamy.
In a pan heat 1 tsp ghee, 2 tbsp cashew, 2 tbsp almonds, 2 tbsp raisins and 1 cup makhana.
Roast until the nuts turn crunchy.
Transfer the roasted nuts into the kheer, also add ½ tsp cardamom powder.
Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
