Firstly, in a kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and saute spice till they turn aromatic.
Also, saute 2 tbsp cashew till they turn golden brown.
Further, add 5 chilies, 2 cloves garlic,1 inch ginger, ½ onions and saute until the onion softens.
Now add 1½ cup peas, 1 tsp salt and stir fry.
Pour in 2 cup water and get to a boil.
Once the water comes to a boil, add 1 cup basmati rice, 2 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp ghee. Lemon juice helps to cook the rice uniformly.
give a good stir. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes once the water comes to a boil.
Fluff the rice gently making sure the rice grains are not broken.
