firstly, in a large vessel take water, ½ tsp turmeric and 1 tsp salt.
add in chopped banana flower heart and boil for 10 minutes.
drain off and keep aside.
in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp chana dal, 1 tsp urad dal, few curry leaves.
add 1 onion, 2 chilli, 2 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger and saute well.
further add in boiled banana flower heart, ½ tsp salt and mix well.
cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until everything is well cooked.
now add 2 tbsp coconut, 2 tbsp coriander and 2 tbsp lemon juice. mix well.
finally, enjoy banana flower sukka or stir fry with hot steamed rice.
