- 1 tsp green chutney
- 1 tsp tamarind chutney
- 2 tbsp sev
- 1 tbsp curd
- pinch chaat masala
- pinch chilli powder
- 1 tbsp coriander finely chopped
for chips masala papad:
- 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp sweet corn
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- handful chips
for pizza masala papad:
- 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp capsicum finely chopped
- few olives chopped
- few jalapeno chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp cheese grated
- pinch chilli flakes
- pinch mixed herbs
firstly, deep fry the papad in hot oil. i have used lijjat papad, you can use papad of your choice.
deep fry on both sides to make it crunchy. if you are diet conscious, then you can directly fry on flame or in the microwave.
drain off over kitchen paper to get rid of excess oil.
how to make classic masala papad:
firstly, take fried papad on a plate.
garnish with 2 tbsp onion, 2 tbsp tomato, 1 chilli and 2 tbsp sev.
also sprinkle chilli powder, chaat masala and 1 tbsp coriander.
finally, enjoy crispy classic masala papad with evening tea.
