Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp ghee. add 1 tsp cumin, 1 inch ginger, 2 chilli and saute until they turn aromatic.
Add 1 onion, 1 bay leaf and saute until the onion softens.
Further keeping the flame on low, add ½ tsp turmeric, ¾ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala and saute until the spices turn aromatic.
Now add 2 tomato, 1 tsp salt and cook till the tomato turn soft and mushy.
Add 2 tbsp peas and 4 cup water. Mix and get the water to a boil.
Add in 1½ cup rolled oats and mix well.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the oats soften completely.
Add in 2 tbsp coriander and mix well.
