Ingredients

for puree:

  • 2 tomato
  • 2 tbsp cashew soaked

for curry:

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • ½ cup cashew
  • 20 cubes paneer cubed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • 4 pepper
  • 2 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp salt
  • hot water
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp kasuri methi crushed
  • 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
  • 2 chilli slit
  • ½ tsp garam masala

Instructions

  • In a mixer jar take 2 tomato, 2 tbsp cashew and grind them to a smooth paste. Keep asdie.
  • In a large kadai, heat 2 tbsp ghee. Fry ½ cup cashews till they turn golden brown. Keep aside.
  • Also, fry 20 cubes of  paneer till they turn golden brown. Keep aside.
  • Add in 2 tbsp oil. Add 1 tsp cumin, 1 inch cinnamon, 5 cloves, 4 pepper, and saute till the spices turn aromatic.
  • Add in 2 onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute till the onions turn golden brown.
  • Keeping the flame on low add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp chilli powder.
  • Saute on low flame till the spices turn aromatic.
  • Add in prepared tomato puree and cook well.
  • Add 2 tbsp curd and 1 tsp salt and cook until the mixture releases oil.
  • Add in hot water and mix well adjusting the consistency as required. Cook well.
  • Further, add 2 tbsp cream, fried cashew and paneer. Mix and cook till the flavors are well absorbed.
  • Now add 2 tbsp kasuri methi, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 chilli, and ½ tsp garam masala. Mix well.
  • Finally, enjoy Kaju Masala Recipe with roti.
