Firstly, in a saucepan take ¾ cup jaggery and ½ cup water.
Stir well and boil until the jaggery melts completely. Cool and keep aside.
In a large bowl, mash 2 banana to a smooth paste texture.
Add 2 cup wheat flour, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp cardamom powder, and ¼ tsp baking soda.
Pour in jaggery water. Make sure to filter out to remove any particles.
Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
Add water as required and beat the batter till you get ribbon consistency.
Now dip your hand in cold water and pinch a small ball-sized batter.
Drop it in hot oil keeping the flame on medium.
Stir and fry uniformly on medium flame.
Drain off the bonda once it turns golden brown and crisp.
