Firstly, dry roast 2 cup of sesame till it turns aromatic and golden brown.
Transfer to the large plate and allow to cool.
Also, roast 1 cup peanuts till they turn golden and crunchy.
Peel the skin and allow it to cool completely.
Pulse and grind the peanut and sesame to a coarse powder. Keep aside.
In a large kadai, take 1 cup jaggery, 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water.
Stir and dissolve the jaggery.
Boil till the jaggery syrup attains 1-string consistency.
Now add powdered till and peanut powder, ½ cup coconut and ½ tsp cardamom powder.
Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
Further, add 1 tbsp ghee and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the tray lined with baking paper, and level up.
Cool slightly, and cut the burfi into pieces.
