Firstly, in a pan heat 2 tsp oil. Add 1 tsp cumin, pinch hing, and saute till the spices turn aromatic.
Add 2 onion, 2 chilli, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, and saute till the onion softens.
Keeping the flame on low, add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp aamchur, and 1 tsp salt.
Saute till the spices turn aromatic.
Also, add ¼ cup besan and saute till the besan turns aromatic.
Further add 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp kasuri methi and mix well. Onion stuffing is ready, keep it aside.
Add 2 cup wheat flour and ½ tsp salt to prepare the dough.
Add water as required and knead to a smooth dough.
Now pinch a ball-sized dough and make a cup by pressing from the sides.
Place a ball-sized prepared onion stuffing in the center. Take the edge and start pleating bringing it to the centre.
Also, join the pleats together and secure tight pinching off excess dough.
Sprinkle some wheat flour and roll slightly thick.
On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
Furthermore, flip the paratha when the base is partly cooked (after a minute).
Also, brush oil/ghee and press slightly. Flip again once or twice till both sides are cooked properly.
Finally, serve hot Onion Paratha with sauce, raita, or pickle.
