masala pundi recipe with rava | semolina dumplings recipe | pundi gatti or rava dumpling step by step photo recipe. i love to have a healthy south indian breakfast everyday, dosas and idlis are our all time favourite recipe.
i used to never make pundi as it requires a lot effort. pre soaking of rice, grinding to coarse batter, mixing continuously the batter to form dough. at last steaming after making balls. no more to worry as the other day i had visited one of my friends house (Raghav) who is staying in sydney and he prepared pundi in a jiffy.
i was surprised to see that pundi can be made with rava (semolina) also.  today i am here with sharing easy, quick and tasty way of preparing pundi. no surprises this recipe is just like making uppitu and then steaming after making balls.
just before jumping into the recipe, please have a look at my other breakfast recipes, especially, uppitu, pongal ,sambar rice, coriander rice, bisi bele bath, pudina pulao, tomato rice recipes. also have look at my dosa, plain dosa, neer dosa, rava idli, idli with cooked rice, poori etc.
