Ingredients
  

  • fistful of coriander leaves
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 tbsp curd / yogurt, fresh
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp ghee / clarified butter
  • ¾ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp jeera / cumin seeds
  • few curry leaves
  • pinch of hing

Instructions
 

  • firstly, take coriander leaves and green chilli.
  • furthermore, blend to smooth paste adding required water.
  • also add thick curd.
  • additionally, add some coconut milk and give a good mix.
  • furthermore, add salt to taste and mix well.
  • prepare the tempering. in a small kadai, take ghee, mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves and hing. allow to splutter.
  • finally, pour the tempering over the tambli and serve with hot steamed rice.

notes:

  • firstly, instead of coconut milk, replace with a tbsp of freshly grated coconut while blending with coriander and green chilli.
  • furthermore, using coconut milk enhances the flavour of tambuli.
  • most noteworthy, the consistency of tambli must be slightly thin.
  • finally, add tempering to make it more rich and flavourful.
