instant bread masala dosa

instant bread masala dosa recipe | instant bread dosa recipe with step by step photos and video recipe. this a unique and modern way of preparing a instant masala dosa or just plain dosa. this dosa is for those people who crave for fresh south indian breakfast, but is always short of time in early morning. obviously nothing can replace traditional rice and ural dal masala dosa, but this is not less than any dosa.

this recipe of instant bread masala dosa was first prepared by mom last year when i visited her. initially i was skeptical about this recipe, but later i was surprised with the outcome. no hassle of soaking rice and urad dal and grinding the batter later to keep it to ferment for overnight. you may get feeling of bread taste in this dosa recipe, but if you are consuming with a coconut chutney or chana dal chutney or any chutney recipe, you will not even feel this dosa is prepared by bread slices.

instant bread dosa

i have used normal sandwich bread in this recipe, but you can certainly try multigrain bread or wholemeal bread. but the sandwich bread is optimal for this recipe as it would give a proper taste, colour and crisp to your instant dosa. one may question about the disadvantages of using the white bread or the plain flour bread, but i would counter argue with the theory of having food outside in a restaurant or in a street stall. moreover, it is ok to have once in a while 🙂

i have posted several south indian breakfast recipes, like idli collections and dosa collections. check out my instant rava uttappa recipe, oats dosa rava dosa, mysore masala dosa, dosa, plain dosa, neer dosa and sandwhich dosa. you can serve these dosas, with either chutney collections or sambar collections. also check out my other instant recipes.
