grape juice recipe | grapefruit juice recipe | homemade black grape juice with detailed photo and video recipe. basically a beverage drink recipe which is prepared from ripe black grapes which is rich in vitamin c. an ideal summer drink which can be served as refreshing drink before or after lunch and provides immediate cooling effect.
this grape juice recipe is shared by my father and he prepares this recipe quite often. most commonly the grape juice is prepared by adding the chopped grapes to blender with some sugar. however this is totally different method where, grape syrup is prepared from boiling the grape extract with sugar to form a concentrated grape syrup. later this syrup is extended by adding chilled water with ice cubes. the concentration of the grape juice can be varied as per the individual preference. certainly this instant grape juice can be a life saver beverage for your family and also for the surprise guests.
while the grapefruit juice recipe is extremely simple, but some important tips and considerations while preparing it. firstly, both seed and seedless grapes are perfectly alright for grape juice recipe. i personally do not prefer seed grapes as introduces an extra step of removing the seeds. secondly, the quantity of sugar added is completely dependent upon the sourness of grapes. if you find your grapes very sour increase the quantity of sugar accordingly and vice versa too. lastly, the same procedure can be used to prepare the green grape juice too.

Ingredients
for grape syrup:
- 2 cups black grapes, seeds / seedless
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
for grape juice 1 serving:
- few ice cubes
- ¼ cup grape syrup, prepared
- few grapes, chopped
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- firstly, in a large vessel take 2 cups of grapes.
- further add a cup of water.
- and get the grapes to boil.
- stir occasionally, for uniform cooking of grapes.
- further boil for 5 minutes or till grapes turn soft.
- mash the grapes slightly, and check if the grapes are cooked well.
- cool the mixture completely.
- and mash with the potato masher or squeeze the pulp with your hand.
- filter the mixture and extract the grape juice.
- squeeze well to get enough pulp from the grape mixture.
- transfer the extracted grape juice to the large vessel.
- also add ¼ cup sugar and mix well.
- boil the syrup for 2 minutes.
- and further turn off the flame and squeeze lemon juice.
- cool completely before storing the grape syrup.
- once cooled, transfer to the large glass jar and can store in refrigerator for atleast 6 months.
- to prepare the grape juice, take ice cubes in glass jar.
- add in ¼ cup prepared grape syrup.
- also add 1 cup of water.
- and add few chopped fresh grapes.
- mix well, adjust the concentration depending on your choice.
- finally, serve grape juice chilled garnished with a mint leaves.
how to make homemade grape juice with step by step photo:

- mix well, adjust the concentration depending on your choice.
- finally, serve grape juice chilled garnished with a mint leaves.
notes:
- firstly, use fresh grapes as they will be more juicy and clean.
- further, adjust the amount of sugar depending on the grape sweetness and sourness.
- additionally, make a thick syrup of grape by adding less water while boiling.
- finally, refrigerate the grape syrup in glass jar to increase the shelf life for 6 months and prepare grape juice as required.
