Honestly, there are so many ways you can do it, but this post tries to capture 6 basic and simple folding techniques which you can easily adapt to your daily routine. If you noticed, other than the use of ghee or clarified butter, I have not used any other stuffing for these folding techniques. In other words, with a simple addition of ghee, you can make a simple and monotonous roti or chapati to more filling and exciting bread for your lunch and dinner. Plain Paratha Recipe Furthermore, some more additional and interesting tips, suggestions, and variants to Plain Paratha Recipe. Firstly, I have used wheat flour for this paratha recipe which should be an ideal or perfect choice. However, you can use a combination of plain flour and wheat flour or just plain flour to prepare the paratha dough. Secondly, while pleating and folding, to make it flavored and spicy, you may add finely chopped coriander, garlic, chaat masala. You may either add just one of these ingredients or a combination of them as per your preference. Lastly, if you are using maida or plain flour with wheat flour, folding or pleating would be easier as compared to just wheat flour. However, the digestion or from a health perspective, just wheat flour should be your first choice.
