Ingredients
for dough:
- 1 cup milk, warm
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 2 cup maida
- 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- ½ tsp mixed herbs
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp oil
for stuffing:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp sweet corn
- 2 tbsp capsicum, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp eggless mayonnaise
- ½ tsp mixed herbs
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup paneer, cubes
- cheese, grated
Instructions
how to make paneer stuffing:
- firstly, in a large bowl take ½ cup warm milk, 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp dry yeast.
- mix well and allow the yeast to activate.
- once the yeast activates, add 2 cup maida, 2 clove garlic, ½ tsp mixed herbs, ½ tsp chilli flakes and ½ tsp salt.
- mix well and start to knead the dough.
- add milk as required and knead to a smooth dough.
- now add 2 tsp oil and continue to knead the dough.
- tuck the dough, cover and rest for 2 hours or until the dough doubles in size.
how to make paneer stuffing:
- firstly, in a large pan heat 2 tbsp oil and saute 2 clove garlic.
- add ½ onion and saute until the onion shrinks.
- now add 2 tbsp sweet corn, 2 tbsp capsicum and saute well.
- also add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tbsp eggless mayonnaise, ½ tsp mixed herbs, ½ tsp chilli flakes, ½ tsp chilli powder and ½ tsp salt.
- mix well making sure everything is well combined.
- further, add ½ cup paneer and mix well. stuffing is ready, keep it aside.
how to shape paneer parcel:
- after the dough has rested for 2 hours, punch the dough gently and knead slightly.
- pinch a ball sized dough and roll gently.
- fold the sides shaping into a triangle.
- place a tsp cheese, followed by 1 tbsp prepared paneer stuffing and cheese.
- seal the tips with water and bring them together.
- brush the parcel with milk to get a golden colour.
- you can bake in kadai for 20 minutes or bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- now brush with butter to get the shiny crust.
