while there are several variations to this simple street food, one such variation is to add grated cheese to the noodle and vegetable mixture. more frequently i prepare noodle cutlet without cheese with just spices and vegetables, however it taste great with cheese too. i particularly add grated cheddar cheese to the noodle and vegetable mixture. but i guess mozzarella cheese should also tastes great. i personally have not tried it though and i feel anxious to try it too just because it may ooze out and spill into oil. further, if you want to try it with cheese i would heavily recommend to have the double coating of bread crumbs and maida paste.
while the recipe is extremely simple without much complicated steps, yet i would like to share few tips for maggi masala noodles cutlet. firstly, prepare the maggi noodles on the dry side with less moisture and straining it completely. otherwise, you may not be able to shape the cutlet dough to a round shape. also it may crumble and absorb more oil while deep frying. secondly, the same recipe can also be prepared with ready to eat noodles or instant plain noodles. but i would recommend to add half tsp garam masala and one tsp coriander powder as a extra spices. lastly, serve the noodles cutlet recipe as a snack or even as patties between sandwich or burger.
