PEA NUT - HALF CUP

firstly, in a thick bottomed pan take ½ cup peanuts

TURNS CRUNCHY

roast on low flame until it turns crunchy and golden.

COARSE POWDER

cool completely, and blend to a coarse powder.

PEANUT  POWDER

transfer the peanut powder into a large bowl and keep it aside

SESAME - HALF CUP

in a pan roast ½ cup sesame. you can use black or white sesame.

STARTS TO POP

roast until the sesame turns aromatic and starts to pop out.

COARSE POWDER

cool completely, and blend to a coarse powder

SESAME POWDER

transfer the sesame powder into the same large bowl and keep it aside

PISTACHIOS - 2 TBSP

further take 2 tbsp almonds, 2 tbsp pistachios and roast until they turn crunchy

PUMPKIN SEEDS - 2 TBSP

also add 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds and roast well.

COARSE POWDER

cool completely, and blend to a coarse powder

NUTS POWDER

transfer the nuts powder into the same large bowl and keep it aside

DRY COCONUT 

now take ½ cup dry coconut and roast on low flame

TURNS AROMATIC

roast until the coconut turns aromatic and slightly golden brown.

COOL COMPLETELY

transfer the roasted coconut into the same large bowl

ANJEER - 2 CHOPPED

also add 2 anjeer, 2 dates, ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well

PROTEIN LADOO MIX

mix until everything is well combined. keep aside

JAGGERY - 1.5 CUP

in a large kadai take 1½ cup jaggery and ¼ cup water. i have used marayoor jaggery which is prepared from condensed sugar cane juice

ONE STRING 

stir and boil until the jaggery syrup attains 1 string consistency.

PROTEIN LADOO MIX

now add in prepared protein powder mix and mix well

WELL COMBINED

combine well making sure everything is well combined

THICKENS SLIGHTLY

the mixture will start to thickens after a minute

TRANSFER

transfer the mixture to a large plate. allow to cool slightly, this helps to hold the shape. i have greased the plate with ghee to prevent it from sticking

NO SUGAR NO GHEE

now prepare the ladoo of the size of your choice

READY TO EAT

finally, enjoy protein balls or energy balls for a month when stored in an airtight container.
