Suji sandwich recipe | no bread masaledar aloo stuffed sooji sandwich nasta with step-by-step photo and video recipe. rava or sooji-based recipes, are always the popular choices across India. Most commonly it is used for morning breakfast meals, but has numerous use cases and can be used for snacks, desserts, sweets, and chaat recipes. In addition, it can also be innovative and can also be prepared as a sandwich, and suji sandwich recipe is one such innovative no-bread sandwich recipe.

I have posted quite a few no-bread sandwich recipes, but this recipe has to be one of the fillings and complete meals. Basically, I used the rava dhokla batter to prepare the dhokla batter and later sliced it in half. It is later stuffed with spicy masaledar potato stuffing, thus making one of the filling sandwiches. Unlike the other, no bread sandwich recipe, where bread batter is poured on a toaster sandwich, here in this recipe the bread is steamed. The stuffing of potato is to make it a filling complete meal with vegetables, but the plain rava bread can also be served as it is with a hint of spicy green or red chutney. However, the same aloo stuffing can also be used for vada pav or even for masala dosa too. Do try this innovative recipe and let me know your thoughts about it.

Suji Sandwich Recipe Furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions, and variants to this innovative suji sandwich recipe. Firstly, the stuffing used in this recipe is potato but this sandwich is not limited to it. You may use or extend the recipe to use vegetable mix, paneer, or even slices of vegetables or meat as a traditional sandwich. Secondly, after the potato stuffing, I pan-fried the sandwich with a little amount of oil. This step is not mandatory and can be skipped but adds more taste and flavour to the sandwich. Lastly, I would heavily recommend using coarse or Bombay rava for this snack. Avoid using other types of sooji as they may not yield the same texture and taste.
