Til Barfi Recipe

Til Barfi Recipe | Sesame Burfi | Til Gud Burfi with step-by-step photo and video. Burfi or Indian fudge is a very common dessert or sweet recipe from Indian cuisine. It is typically made with popular ingredients like besan or milk powder but is not limited and can also be made with other ingredients. One such easy and simple barfi recipe is the til barfi recipe most commonly known as the sesame barfi recipe.

I have posted quite a few barfi recipes but not many recipes with sesame or til recipes. Typically when we talk about barfi or ladoo, it is heavily loaded with milk powder, rava, and chickpea flour. These make up the majority of the list, but there are other popular ingredients like peanuts and sesame which can also be used to make the same dessert snack. Typically, peanuts and sesame are used to make brittle and hard chikki recipes, but when carefully played with jaggery syrup, it gets that soft and moist texture. In addition, due to the use of jaggery, it can be treated as a healthy snack. Also, the brittle texture can be a concern to some age groups, and the soft and moist texture of sesame and peanuts can be a pleasant surprise.

Furthermore, some more related and additional tips, suggestions, and variations to the til barfi recipe. Firstly, I have used white sesame seeds, which is an ideal choice for this dessert snack. However, the same snack can also be made with a combination of white and black sesame seeds which makes it a healthy combination. Secondly, with sesame and peanuts, you may also use other dry fruit nuts that make it a perfect sesame dry fruit barfi. However, avoid overloading it with other nuts, and lose its sesame flavor. Lastly, as an additional ingredient, you may also add mawa or khoya to make it til gud mawa burfi.
